During Christmas Camp, campers learn and review basic care for horses, including how to blanket horses in the winter months, winter horse care, and much more! Campers also enjoy decorating the barn, creating holiday crafts, riding, and spending time making new friends with other horse-loving peers. Christmas Camp is a 3 hour, 2 day mini camp.
During camp snacks and drinks will be provided for campers each day, though they are welcome to bring their own. During each session, campers will divided up into groups based on age and ability levels. Each group will rotate through stations which include horseback riding, crafts, games, and equine related education.
*Spring Camp is for all levels of riders (beginners through advanced) and all campers will be grouped and differentiated accordingly for education, riding, and activities.
Summer camps are half day (9-1), week long (M-F) summer camps for a hands-on, innovative experience for riders of every background. Our qualified and experienced instructors serve as facilitators of the learning process. During summer camps, children get the opportunity to brush, feed, ride, care for, and bathe the horses. Each day, riders participate in whole group, small group, and individualized (based on age and ability level) activities, semi-private horseback riding lessons, and equine related education, tailored to meet the needs of each child.
At Pony Palooza, we emphasize the importance of safety, horsemanship, and creating lasting bonds between the horse and rider. Your child will leave camp understanding the importance of determination and team work, with memories of camp that will leave them begging to come back. Pony camps are open to beginning (no experience required) through advanced riders ages 5 and up. The Blue Ribbon Riders Camp is open only to riders that are ready to show (you do not have to be a show team member) comfortably doing walk/trot cross rails through jumping 3' or higher.
