Pony Palooza offers several camps throughout the year. Camps are open to anyone, and provide riders of all levels with an opportunity to develop their riding and horsemanship skills.


2021 Summer Camps | Registration Now OPEN

We are excited to announce our 2021 summer camp dates!

Please note that we are at a new location: 160 Eberle Rd, Hickory, PA 15340

Pony camps are open to beginning (no experience required) through advanced riders ages 5 and up. The Blue Ribbon Riders Camp is open only to riders that are ready to show (you do not have to be a show team member)  comfortably doing walk/trot cross rails through jumping 2'6 and campers will be grouped accordingly.

During summer camps, children get the opportunity to brush, feed, ride, care for, and bathe the horses.  Each day, riders participate in whole group, small group, and individualized (based on age and ability level) activities, semi-private horseback riding lessons, and equine related education, tailored to meet the needs of each child.  At Pony Palooza, we emphasize the importance of safety, horsemanship, and creating lasting bonds between the horse and rider.  Your child will leave camp understanding the importance of determination and teamwork, with memories of camp that will leave them begging to come back. 

We will continue to enforce the CDC guidelines for COVID protocols. Masks will be required to be worn when unmounted and social distancing will be enforced. 

Pony Palooza summer camp details:

- Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 1:00pm

- Cost: $325

Blue Ribbon Riders camp details:

- Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 1:00pm

- Cost: $375

* A $150 deposit is due at the time of registration to reserve your spot. All deposits are non-refundable from the time of payment. Remaining balances are due by the 1st of the month of your child's camp. No refunds will be given after June 1, 2021. 

If you would like to register for a summer camp, please complete the following steps:

1.  Download and complete the registration paperwork (1 per child) and email to ctponypalooza@gmail.com or mail to Carrie Torre 160 Eberle Road Hickory, PA 15340.  Registration paperwork must also include a copy of your child's insurance card.  (If mailing paperwork, please send us an email to let us know once you have mailed paperwork) 

*Please note, signatures CANNOT be typed on the forms, they must be e-signed or signed and scanned*

2.  Pay a deposit ($150/child) to reserve your child's spot in camp. Payments can be made in the following ways:

     -  Cash

     -  Checks written to cash or Pony Palooza, LLC. (If you are mailing a check, please email us and let us know when you mail it.)

     -  Venmo: @ponypal

     - PayPal: www.paypal.me/ponypalooza

If paying through PayPal/Venmo, there is a slight increase in cost in order to cover PayPal transaction fees (Deposit- $155 or payment in full - $335 / $385-BRR)

Spring Camp


Spring camp is open to riders of all levels ages 4&up. From beginner riders through advanced riders jumping courses, you will be sure to have a blast and experience new challenges at camp. Activities and riding will be differentiated through strategic grouping based on age and experience levels. Each group will rotate through stations which include horseback riding, crafts, games, and equine related education. Masks will be required when unmounted and social distancing will be enforced. 


Fall Camp

During our fall mini camp, campers learn basic horse care, participate in a scavenger hunt, and navigate an obstacle course on horseback. Campers have a blast participating in a mini-lesson each day as well as decorating the barn and creating fall themed crafts. Fall camp is open to beginner through advanced riders ages 4&up.


Christmas Camp

During Christmas Camp, campers learn and review basic care for horses, including how to blanket horses in the winter months, winter horse care, and much more! Campers also enjoy decorating the barn, creating holiday crafts, riding, and spending time making new friends with other horse-loving peers. Christmas Camp is a 3 hour, 2 day mini camp open to riders ages 4 and up.
